Indonesia is home to the unfamous Komodo dragon. The biggest lizard on earth, 3 m long for 136 kg, is the last descendent of the dinosaur era. Living in the Komodo national park, east of Bali, created to protect this endanger species. During your visit in the Komodo national park you have the possibility to do a trek with a local ranger to discover the indigenous species in total safety and learn more about its environment, food and behavior. It is also a chance to observe this unique ecosystem full of endemic birds, animals and flowers. The Komodo dragon is present on the two main islands of the park, Rinca and Komodo islands and different trek are proposed on the two islands from a short trek (1h) to a long trek (3h). Travelling to Komodo National park is something you will never forget!
